When you use Canada MedLaser's skin analysis tool, we collect a photo of your face and derive biometric measurements from it — facial geometry and skin condition scores (things like texture, pigmentation, wrinkles, and volume) — along with the AI-generated images this produces (a projection of your skin today, an unretouched aging projection, and a projection of a treatment result).
Your photo and the biometric measurements derived from it are used only to generate your skin analysis and treatment recommendations, and to let you compare your current skin, a projected future, and a projected treatment result. We do not use your photo for facial recognition, identity verification, or any purpose beyond delivering this analysis to you.
Your photo is processed by third-party AI providers (including Anthropic and Google) to generate your results — this processing may occur outside Canada. Canada MedLaser can see your results to follow up on your treatment plan. We do not sell your biometric information, and we do not share it with advertisers or data brokers.
Your photo and derived biometric data are kept for 90 days from the date of your analysis, or until you request deletion — whichever comes first.
You can withdraw your consent and request deletion of your photo and derived biometric data at any time, either from the link in your report footer or by contacting Canada MedLaser — by phone, or in person at the clinic. Withdrawing consent doesn't affect the lawfulness of processing that already happened before your request.
