1. What we collect

When you use this service, we collect:

  • Contact details you provide — first name, phone number, email, and postal code.
  • A photo of your face and the biometric measurements and AI-generated images derived from it — see our biometric & AI image processing notice for the full detail on this specifically.
  • Your answers to the qualification questions (skin concerns, goals, budget, and similar).

2. How we use it

We use this information to generate your skin analysis and treatment recommendations, to verify your phone number, to follow up with you about your results and treatment options (where you've consented to that contact), and to operate and improve this service.

3. Who we share it with

We share information with the service providers that help us operate this tool — AI providers that generate your analysis and images, our SMS provider that delivers verification codes, and, where Canada MedLaser uses one, a customer relationship or payment platform to manage your booking. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with advertisers.

4. Retention

Your photo and the biometric data derived from it are kept for 90 days from your analysis, or until you request deletion — whichever comes first. Your contact details are kept for as long as needed to provide this service and follow up with you, or until you request deletion.

5. Security

We use industry-standard safeguards to protect your information, including encryption in transit. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we can't guarantee absolute security.

6. Your rights

You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information at any time, and you can withdraw any consent you've given (for contact, for the photo analysis, or both) at any time, by contacting Canada MedLaser — by phone, or in person at the clinic. You can also delete your photo and skin analysis yourself, at any time, using the link in the footer of your report. Withdrawing consent doesn't affect the lawfulness of anything already processed before your request.

7. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. If we make a material change, we'll update the date at the top of this page.

8. Governing law

This policy is governed by the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and other applicable Canadian privacy law.

9. Contact

Questions about this policy, or requests to access, correct or delete your data, can be directed to Canada MedLaser — by phone, or in person at the clinic.
